1. I'm looking forward to sharing from Acts 20-21 this Sunday. I will compare and contrast the story of Eutychus' sleepy death (and yet life again) with Paul's determination to go to Jerusalem. And don't be late as we'll first be baptizing Evan Carlyle Parker into the faith community! Jason & Heidi Parker invite everyone to stay after for a potluck (bring a dish!). - Pastor Jeremy

2. On October 23rd and 24th we are hosting the Eastern Nazarene College Animal Care Team. There will be a presentation on October 23rd at 6pm with several of their animals. Sunday morning Professor Jonathan Twining will talk to us about God's creation and our role in caring for it. Here's a short video about the team.

3. The North Street Community Retreat will be happening President's Day Weekend (Feb. 18-21). More details are to come but mark it off on your calendar so you can join us for this wonderful weekend!

4. Upcoming Meetings
October 12th - Ministries Committee and the Facilities Committee
October 26th - Finance and Administration Committee
November 8th - Board Meeting

5. We're excited to announce that we're going to be putting together a daily Advent Devotional Booklet for our community. We need writers of all ages and styles to contribute to the booklet. We'll have a short reading for each day, so if you're willing to submit a poem, very short story, reflection, or in any other way are willing to contribute some writing, please let Pastor Jeremy know by October 17th. More specific details to come.
