1. This Sunday (Feb. 27th) - This Sunday, we pick back up in 1 Corinthians 4:1-5. In it, Paul encourages us to withhold judgment. Coupled with Jesus' words concerning worry in the Sermon on the Mount, we'll (re)consider together the arenas in which we put our worry. Read all of our passages here. Don't forget to bring in your Alabaster Offering (more info below).
2. Ashes to Fire - We're looking forward to the Lenten Season this year, beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 9th. Plan on being a part of our Service of Ashes that evening (7:00 PM) as we kick off the season and our daily emphases through scripture reading, inspirational reading, and prayer. These emphases will surface in every aspect of our weekly church rhythms: Sunday mornings, Sunday School, and Bible Studies. I have been busy working on updating the directory and have added a number of people as well as changing some information.
